Serendipity 奇缘 - Chapter 55

Chapter 55: Miduhyo

Kiki: That was a close call...

Kiki immediately closed the door behind her and locked it. Then she realised that she couldn't lock it, cos Jaejoong was sharing the room with her. So she unlocked it and went into the bed, pulling the quilt over her entire head and trying to hide herself and pretend to sleep before Jaejoong came back in.

Jaejoong took a really fast shower. He got out of the shower dried himself and then he realised that he didn't have any dry clothes with him in the bathroom. Thinking the rest were all still busy in their rooms discussing, he sneaked out of the bathroom, tip-toeing with his wet clothes in his hand, while holding onto the towel wrapped around his lower body.

He went into the room and the lights were off, and Kiki was no where to be seen.

Jaejoong: Jagiya... Where are you?

Kiki (muffled reply from under the quilt): I'm sleeping already...

Jaejoong: I see... I forgot to bring some dry clothes over to the bathroom just now... I need to get changed now...

Kiki pulled the quilt even more over her head.

Jaejoong: *giggles* If you're sleeping already, I don't think you'll mind if I just do it here right? It's cold outside, and I'm only in a towel...

Kiki (muffled reply from under the quilt): Go ahead... I'm sleeping already...

Kiki could hear Jaejoong opening the cupboard and some random noises. She didn't even dare move. Her heart was beating so fast it was deafening. She kept her eyes shut tightly.

After some time, she heard the cupboard closing. Then there was silence. Kiki held her breath.

Kiki's thoughts: What is he doing now? Should have finished changing already by now right?

She strained her ears to hear if there was any sound in the room. There was nothing.

Suddenly...

The quilt was pulled away from Kiki.

Kiki: AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Max: OH MY GOD!!!! The two of them are really noisy... I wonder what they are up to again... But... luckily we're already done!!! They can't disturb us anymore... And I am so hungry I can eat a horse...

Theo: Yeah me too... U-Know, how's your stomach now? Better? You wanna go grab some supper then?

U-Know: Yeah I'm fine... Yes, let's go...

The three of them went out of the house and left to go grab supper.

Meanwhile in Fifi, Micky and Xiah's room...

Fifi: Kiki's screaming AGAIN!!!

Micky: Don't bother... Probably hyung's disturbing her now...

Xiah: Ne... I think so too... He can be such a nuisance sometimes... Always doing silly things... Very un-hyung-like...

Micky: Look who's speaking...

Xiah: YAH!!! PARK YOOCHUN!!! Watch it okay!!!

Fifi: Ha ha ha... I'm gonna grab something to munch on... You guys want anything?

Xiah: Speaking of munchies... I'm feeling a bit hungry...

Micky: Yeah me too... Since we're done already, we might as well go and grab some supper...

Fifi: Okay... sounds good to me... I'll go inform the rest.

Micky: No need to inform them lah... Don't want Max and Theo to scold us for bothering them... Kiki's probably busy now... Don't want Jaejoong hyung coming to bother us tonight... AGAIN...

Fifi: Oh... You're right...

The trio leave the house to go grab supper too.

Jaejoong: Why are you screaming? Can't I get into bed?

Kiki: Oh... Miane...

Kiki opened her eyes and realised that Jaejoong was already dressed and standing at the opposite side of the bed. Jaejoong climbed into the bed, faced himself towards the window (way from Kiki) and pulled the quilt over to his side, so much that Kiki was left out in the cold, as she was only in her Paul Frank shorts and t-shirt. Kiki reached over and tried to tug back a bit of the quilt so that she wouldn't be left out in the cold. Jaejoong had already tucked the quilt around his so snugly that she couldn't even move the quilt a bit.

Kiki: Joongie...

Jaejoong turned around to face her.

Jaejoong: Yeah?

Kiki: Can you give me a bit of the quilt?

Jaejoong: I thought you liked the cold like Yoochun? You open the windows in your apartment even though it is winter...

Kiki: Yeah... But it's ultra cold tonight... The heater's not very strong... And I'm wearing shorts...

Jaejoong looked down at what Kiki was wearing. Her legs were indeed exposed. She fidgeted uncomfortably when she noticed his eyes going down her body.

Jaejoong's thoughts: This silly girl... It's so cold here and she brought shorts to wear to sleep... But her shorts look kinda cute though...

Jaejoong opened up the snugly tucked in quilt for Kiki to get her body inside it.

Jaejoong: Come closer to me...

Kiki: Can't you just spare me a bit of the quilt, it should be big enough for two to share...

Jaejoong: But I'm afraid of the cold remember? I like to tuck myself snugly inside the quilt when I sleep. This is how I sleep at home too...

Kiki: Huh....

Jaejoong: Yeah... If you don't want to share then it's fine with me... Goodnight...

Jaejoong started tucking himself back snugly into the quilt.

Kiki: Wait!!!

Kiki shifted herself closer to Jaejoong, who opened up the quilt to let her in. Once she was inside, he put his arm around her pulling her closer to him, before tucking the quilt snugly around them both. They now looked like a quilt-like cocoon surrounded them on the bed.

Jaejoong: Okay... We should be fine now... Warmer?

Kiki's heart started racing when he pulled her closer to him. When he asked her if she felt warmer, she didn't dare look at him at all, instead she looked down (which was his chest) and avoided eye contact with his eyes.

Kiki: Yeah...

Jaejoong: Is there something on my chest?

Kiki: Anio...

Jaejoong: Then why are you staring at my chest?

Kiki: I'm not...

Jaejoong: Then look at me...

Kiki didn't budge at all. Jaejoong grabbed Kiki's chin and tilted her face up to face him. Her cheeks were now flushed red. Her heart was racing like mad. She could feel it pounding like mad.

Jaejoong's thoughts: Ha ha... She's blushing...

Jaejoong: Boy this feel warm...

He snuggled up closer to her, encircling both his arms around her, pulling her into his arms. Kiki's head was now on Jaejoong's chest. Jaejoong could smell the faint scent of cocoa from Kiki's bath.

Jaejoong: You smell very sweet... like chocolate...

Then she felt his legs going around her.

Kiki tried to pushed herself away from him immediately. But he held on tightly to her.

Kiki: Joongie, what are you doing?!!!

Jaejoong: I miss my bolster...

Kiki: But I'm not your bolster... Let go of me now!!!

Jaejoong: Can't I hug you to sleep? I'm cold... You're cold too right?

Kiki knew inside her heart that it was a seriously cold night. She was alright with him hugging her to sleep but...

Kiki: Okay... But... Move your legs!!! Otherwise you're sleeping on the sofa tomorrow...

Jaejoong: Okay... okay...

Jaejoong retracts his legs and plants a peck on Kiki's hair.

Jaejoong: Goodnight jagiya...

Kiki tilted her head up to look at Jaejoong, his eyes were already closed. But when he felt her move, he opened them again and looked at Kiki.

Jaejoong: Wae?

Kiki looked at Jaejoong. She was still unable to believe that he was really in front of her now. Everything felt like a dream since he asked her to be their guide. He was so perfect. What did she do to deserve his love? To call him hers?

Kiki: Nothing... I was just thinking of something silly...

Jaejoong smiled.

Jaejoong: What silly stuff are you thinking again?

Kiki: Why me?

Jaejoong: Huh?

Kiki: Why do you like me?

Jaejoong: I do MORE than like you... I LOVE you...

Kiki (blushes): I know... But why?

Jaejoong: Cos you make me happy... I feel happiness that I've never felt before in my entire life...

Kiki: But you are in TVXQ, surely you can get ANY girl you want to make you happy...

Jaejoong: It's not as glamorous as you think... We might seem to have the world... But we're actually very lonely... At least I am... We can't be ourselves in front of the public... We have to put on mask... You for one should know...

Jaejoong looked at Kiki, she looked back at Jaejoong, still listening attentively. He continued.

Jaejoong: That's why for the first few years we debutted, I didn't speak much at all. I wasn't supposed to... You see I am the eldest, but yet I am not the leader... Cos I'm too frank and straightforward with my words sometimes... I'll make a lot of "enemies" if I'm the leader... So we decided Yunho should be the leader... Cos he's more politically correct... His parents are politicians you know...

Kiki nodded.

Jaejoong: Sometimes I think even Changmin and Yoochun speak better than me... I'm so... Useless... as a hyung...

Kiki placed a finger over his lips.

Kiki: You're not useless... Don't say that... You're the lead vocals... Xiah also mentioned before that your voice is the connecting link that binds all the members' voices together... And I love your voice...

Jaejoong grabbed Kiki's hand and pulled it to his heart.

Jaejoong: I know... See this is why I love you...

Kiki: Huh?

Jaejoong: Somehow... I don't know how... But you can SEE the REAL me... I can be myself around you... I can pour my heart out to you without any worries... I don't have to hide behind a mask... And so... I can TRULY be happy...

Kiki looked at Jaejoong. Her eyes slowly welling up with tears of happiness. As the tears fall down her face, Jaejoong cupped her face in his hands and wiped away the tears with his thumbs.

Jaejoong: Ah... I made you cry again... Miane...

Kiki: I just wanted to know why... Cos somehow I still feel like I am living in a dream...

Jaejoong: Don't be... I've already told you before... I need you more than you think... You're my inspiration... Without you I can't work... So... Don't even think of leaving me uncontactable like last time... Cos I don't think I can take it... Believe me... This is all real... My heart is true... (sings) Miduhyo...

Kiki smiled.

Kiki: How did you know that that's my all-time fave song?

Jaejoong: Cos it's mine too... Even though my part isn't the main...

Kiki: I know... But the mtv on the bridge... Amazing... I fell in love at first sight...

Jaejoong: With me?

Jaejoong looked at Kiki anticipatingly.

Kiki: Ne... You captivated my heart with your voice...

Jaejoong: Even though I wasn't the lead...

Kiki: Yeah... I don't know why... Xiah's voice was fab too, but somehow...

Jaejoong: Cos I am the most handsome?

Kiki: Didn't everyone already agree that Max was the most handsome in the group?

Jaejoong pouted.

Jaejoong: Hmph... Yeah... Changminnie... The model...

Kiki giggled.

Jaejoong: So... why me?

Kiki: You're asking me now?

Jaejoong: Yeah... Since I've told you my reason... I wanna know yours too...

Kiki smiled and started thinking.

Kiki: I don't know... It really was love at first sight... You'd think it not possible for a fan to feel like that for an idol... I mean... I am still... a fan girl... in reality... But NOT as mad as the Korean Cassiopeias...

Jaejoong: Yeah... Ha ha ha... Our beloved "girlfriends"... I did say before that I think that I'll marry a fan...

Kiki: I know... But that's not it... I just felt something more... Something behind that look in your eyes... Like there was something more behind that mysterious and quiet Young Woong Jaejoong... I just felt like there was more to you than that... A more cheerful and warm side maybe... maybe even a bit silly and cheeky... I wanted to know you better... And that made me slowly like you more and more... Until I saw the recent clips of you... ha ha... the cheeky side I anticipated started coming out...

Jaejoong: So now you're hooked?

Kiki: I guess you can say that... And your voice... Just gets better and better each time...

Jaejoong: Yeah... We need to improve you know... Grow as we age...

Kiki: Ha ha... you make yourself sound like you are so old...

Jaejoong: Ha ha... yeah!!! I'm already an adult... An undergrad, I must act more matured...

Kiki taps Jaejoong's nose playfully with her finger.

Jaejoong (pouts): Hmph... Who says so?

Kiki: Max already said all his hyungs are so immature...

Jaejoong: Aish~... Changminnie's different!!! He's TOO matured for his age... He's an ajushi already...

Kiki laughs and yawns. She rubbed her eyes tiredly.

Jaejoong: You're tired?

Kiki: Yeah... A bit... Aren't you? You drove for so long...

Jaejoong: Anio...

Kiki: Not at all?

Jaejoong: Ne... Cos I have you beside me the whole time... I can stay awake just to look at you...

Kiki pushed Jaejoong's face away playfully.

Kiki: Sweet-talker... So much nonsense...

Jaejoong turns his face back to look at Kiki.

Jaejoong (lovingly): Jagiya... You know something?

Kiki (blurly): What?

Jaejoong: I cannot wait...

Kiki: For what?

Jaejoong (sweetly): The day... I can... TRULY... call you... Mine...

Kiki smiled. Jaejoong leaned his forehead over to touch Kiki's forehead. Jaejoong leaned forward and planted a kiss on Kiki's lips. Kiki closed her eyes when Jaejoong kissed her. Then they parted.

Kiki: Joongie... I...

Jaejoong: Don't worry... I'll wait for our wedding day... For you to make me the happiest man in the world...

Jaejoong: Meanwhile... I'll go find other means and ways to...

Kiki (hits him on the arm once): Hey!!! What did you mean by that? Don't you dare!!!

Jaejoong: Ha ha ha ha... I meant Max's videos...

Kiki (blushes): Oh... THAT...

Jaejoong: Yeah... So I can...

Kiki (covers her ears): Alright alright... Too much information... You don't have to tell me all these...

Jaejoong: Ha ha ha... You should know all men watch THAT... You should be glad I do... Cos if I don't then you'd have to be careful... Cos I might be abnormal...

Kiki: Men and their hormones... *tsk tsk*

Jaejoong: Hey... I know some women watch THAT too okay... It's not just men... Speaking of which... Do you?

Kiki (hits him again): Stop it!!! I'm not talking to you anymore... Goodnight!

Kiki pushed Jaejoong away from her and turned her back towards him.

Jaejoong: Ha ha ha... Okay... Okay.. Araso... I'll stop it now... Let's sleep now... It's late...

Jaejoong slips his arms back around Kiki and pulls her towards him.

Kiki: Joongie-ah...

Jaejoong: Huh?

Kiki: Goodnight... Sarangheyo...

Jaejoong smiled. He leaned closer to Kiki and whispered into her ear.

Jaejoong: Kiki-ah... sarangheyo... see you in my dreams...

He kissed her on her cheek and lied back down onto his pillow to sleep.

Serendipity 奇缘 - Chapter 54

Chapter 54: Jaejoong's Adventure in the House.....

As the guys were busy planning for their engagement party and the vacation itinerary, Jaejoong was waiting for Kiki to finish bathing in the bathroom before it was his turn.

Jaejoong was bored. He had looked at the scenery from the room's window, listened to music on his ipod, watched Korean variety shows he had downloaded onto his ipod, danced O steps a bit around the room, but he just couldn't stop himself from fidgeting around. He couldn't concentrate on one thing for long.

Kiki slipped herself into the bath tub. It was a cold night, so most people would not be taking a long bath, but Kiki was different, she loved the cold. So it was a great time to indulge in a nice long bath.

Kiki: Ah... The water's so warm and soothing... I'll just enjoy my bath for a while... Since everyone's busy brainstorming they won't be needing the bathroom so soon...

She closed her eyes, plugged in her ipod and started listening to music as she enjoyed soaking in the warm water. TVXQ's 2nd concert was playing on her ipod. She was listening to the track Propose (Hey! Girl reprise). Maybe she was too tired from the long drive, she slowly drifted off to sleep as the music played.

Jaejoong flung himself onto the bed in frustration.

Jaejoong: ARGH!!!! Kiki's taking soooo long!!!! I'm bored out of mind!!!!

He walked out of the room and over to U-Know's room. He popped his head in.

Jaejoong: Hey guys... how's brainstorming going?

Max: Hyung, can you don't come here and disturb us? We still want to sleep one you know?

Jaejoong hits Max on his arm once.

Max: Hyung! What was that for?

Jaejoong: I'm bored guys... Talk to me...

Theo: Get out Jaejoong! I'm really tired already... Please don't waste our time...

U-Know got up and pushed Jaejoong slightly out of the room.

U-Know: Hyung, I think you better go find something else to entertain you. The two of them are REALLY pissed by all your disturbances...

Jaejoong: *sigh* When did you guys become so heartless? I'm your hyung you know? I thought you were my beloved dongsaengs? (hugs U-Know)

Theo & Max (impatiently, and giving a dirty look at Jaejoong): GET OUT!!! NOW!!!

Jaejoong: ARASO!!! Heartless people... (murmuring under his breath)

He walks over to the other room and sees Xiah, Fifi and Micky all lying on the two single beds placed together. He turns his back and prepares his entry.

Jaejoong: DONGSAENGS!!!! Chaljinaessoyo? (My younger siblings, how are you?)

He flunked himself onto the bed in front of them with a tissue over his face, which had 4 holes for his eyes, nose and mouth.

The three of them gave him a dirty look and continues their discussion.

Jaejoong: Hey!!! I'm here!!! (waves in front of their faces)

No one took a look at him at all.

Jaejoong: YAH!!!! I came in with a tissue mass... Look!!! (places the tissue over his face again)

Again, no one bothered about him.

Jaejoong tugs at Micky.

Micky: If you're bored, please go find something else to entertain you and don't come here and be a nuisance...

Xiah: Ne... and it's pronounced as MAS-K, not MASS... Please... Your English is bad...

Fifi giggles at Xiah's comment.

Jaejoong pouts and gives a hurt expression.

Jaejoong: Hmmm...

Micky: Don't try this on us, we're not buying it...

Xiah: Ne, bring your act elsewhere... We've got work to do...

Fifi: Yeah Jaejoong, we need to get some ideas down before we can sleep tonight... So please... Where's Kiki anyway? She's still not talking to you?

Jaejoong: Anio... She's taking a bath... And she's taking very long...

Micky: I see... Your jagiya's not around, then you come and disturb us...

Jaejoong: Ye... I'm bored... Nothing to do...

Xiah: Well don't come and disturb us, cos we've got LOADS TO DO!!!

Jaejoong: ARASO!!! I get the hint...

He walks out of the room disappointedly. Then he walked over to the bathroom and placed his ear on the door. There was no sound coming out from there. He knocked on the door.

Jaejoong: Kiki-ah... Are you done yet?

No response. With earphones plugged in her ears, and her music blasting away, Kiki couldn't hear anything. Moreover she had already fallen asleep.

Jaejoong: Jagiya... Are you done yet? Can you hear me?

He put his ear to the door again. No sound at all. Not even the sound of running water.

Jaejoong: Are you okay in there?

Silence.

Jaejoong: I'm coming in if you're not responding...

No response.

Jaejoong turned the knob. It was locked.

Jaejoong gave another strong bang at the door. Still no response.

Fifi: What's that racket? What's Jaejoong doing again?

Xiah: Just ignore him... We're just getting some ideas...

U-Know: What's that banging sound?

Max: Probably hyung doing some silly things again... Just ignore him...

Since no one came out to help him, as they didn't wanna waste anymore of their time like the previous time. Jaejoong took things into his own hands.

The loud sound of the door being broken was heard in the house, but no one even flinched. They just continued their discussions.

Jaejoong: Jagiya... Are you okay? (grabs Kiki's shoulders and shakes her violently)

Jaejoong saw Kiki with her eyes closed with her ear phones plugged into her ears, and lying in a bath tub full of bubbles. He dashed over and grabbed her shoulders and shook her.

Kiki was awakened by the sudden shaking. She opened her eyes and saw Jaejoong in front of her face shaking her violently.

Kiki: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Kiki screamed and splashed a whole lot of bath water right into Jaejoong's face.

Theo: Aiyo... They are really very noisy leh... Can't they keep it down? So disturbing...

Max: Ignore them lah.... We're almost finished... Almost can rest already... YIPPEE!!!

Fifi: My gosh!! Why is Kiki screaming again?

Micky: Don't care and don't wanna know... Let's just carry on... We've still got Xiah's games to settle...

Kiki kept splashing water from the bath tub onto Jaejoong's face. He had to pull his hands away and use them to block the soapy water from getting into his eyes, which were closed by now.

Kiki: What are you doing in here!!! Get out!!!

Jaejoong: I thought you fainted or something, since there was no response when I knocked.

Kiki: What are you talking about?!!! I was listening to my ipod.... Get out NOW!!!!

She looked over and realised that the door was still open. She covered herself with her hands and slipped herself into the bathwater totally.

Once the splashing stopped, Jaejoong opened his eyes. Kiki was gone.

Jaejoong: Kiki... Where are you?

She lifted her hand up and pointed at the door. Jaejoong laughed. He went over and closed the door. When Kiki heard the door close, she came out from the bathwater.

Kiki: WHAT....*muffled*

Jaejoong was waiting at the tub for her to come back up, and once she came up, he leaned in and engulfed her lips with his. Kiki reached her hands up to try to push him away, but he had already put his arms around her and she was until to break free. Soon she started giving in to the kiss and put her arms around his neck. After a long kiss, Jaejoong pulled himself away. Kiki was already breathless and blushing. She immediately looked down into the bathwater when she noticed Jaejoong looking at her.

Jaejoong: You're taking so long...

Kiki: I'm taking a BATH... What did you expect?

Jaejoong: I was bored out of my mind...

Kiki: Go and talk to the rest then...

Jaejoong (pitifully): Hmph... All of them don't wanna talk to me... They chased me out of the rooms...

Kiki: REALLY?

Kiki looked up. Jaejoong was sitting at the side of the tub, and looking at her pitifully, pouting his lips and making puppy eyes.

Kiki: Poor thing...

Jaejoong nodded.

Kiki: Okay... I'll be out in a bit... Just wait for a while more okay?

Jaejoong nodded.

Kiki: Go on...

Jaejoong (innocently): What?

Kiki: Go out...

Jaejong: Wae? (Why?)

Kiki: So I can finish my bath... And get dressed...

Jaejoong: Can't I stay here while you do it?

Puppy look and kneeling at the side of the tub, Jaejoong looked pleadingly at Kiki.

Kiki: NO WAY!!!

Kiki splashed another round of bathwater at Jaejoong.

Kiki: GO OUT NOW!!!

Jaejoong grabbed Kiki's hands and looked at her seriously.

Jaejoong: It's really okay you know... We're already... Almost... A married couple... Don't have to be shy around your yeobo...

Kiki: ANDWAE!!!! JOONGIE!!! GO OUT!!!

Jaejoong smiled at Kiki, and leaned in.

Jaejoong: Don't worry... I won't look when you get out... I promise...

Kiki: JOONGIE!!! That's not the point... It's embarrassing!!! Go out!!!

Jaejoong: You look so cute when you are angry...

Jaejoong leans in and kisses Kiki on her cheek.
Jaejoong: If you don't want to come out... I can get into the tub too... Since I'm ALL wet already...

Kiki: ANIO!!!!
Jaejoong: So you're getting out now?

Kiki nodded her head.

Kiki: Don't you DARE open your eyes when I get out, or you're gonna get it from me!!! Turn around and close your eyes now... And I mean SHUT them!!! And keep them SHUT!!!

Jaejoong nodded his head repeatedly, stood up, closed his eyes and turned around to face the wall.

Kiki stared at Jaejoong as he did it. Once she felt he was totally still, she slowly inched over to the plug and pulled it out. Then she stood up slowly, while looking at Jaejoong all the while.

Kiki: Stay there and keep your eyes closed...

Jaejoong nodded his head.

Kiki turned on the shower to rinse herself. Then she turned around to rinse all the soap bubbles off.

Kiki: Don't move... Araso???!!!

Jaejoong nodded again.

After some time, Jaejoong heard the shower being turned off. Thinking Kiki had already gotten out of the tub, he turned around. Kiki was just grabbing a towel to cover herself when he turned around.

Kiki: AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Jaejoong immediately closed his eyes and turned around.

Jaejoong: Miane.... Mianeyo.... Mianeyo...

Kiki immediately tried to cover herself with the towel as much as possible. Once he turned back around, she wrapped it around herself properly and got out of the tub. She walked up behind him and hit him on the back once.

Jaejoong: OUCH!!!

Kiki: Why did you turn around? I didn't say I was done yet!!!

Jaejoong: Mianeyo... I was too excited... Wasn't thinking... Forgot you had to get dressed...

He rubbed his back painfully, with his eyes still closed.

Kiki: Keep your eyes closed until I say I am ready. Open them one more time and you're sleeping on the sofa for the rest of the days...

Jaejoong nodded repeatedly. Kiki went around and waved her hand in front of Jaejoong's eyes. When she was sure he was not looking, she walked behind him and started drying herself and getting dressed. Then she noticed that he was also dripping wet from all the bathwater she had been splashing on him. She took another towel and threw it on his head.

Jaejoong felt a towel land on his head. He took it down with his hand. He knew it was from Kiki for him to dry himself off. He started using it to dry his face and hair.

Kiki: I'm done... You can open your eyes now...

Jaejoong opened his eyes immediately. Kiki was walking towards the door.

Jaejoong: Where are you going?

Kiki looked at Jaejoong.

Kiki: Back to the room, so that you can take your bath now... You're all wet...

Jaejoong looked at himself. He was indeed all wet. He reached to take his top off.

Kiki immediately covered her own eyes, turned around and fumbled to look for the door knob.

Kiki: WAIT!!! Let me go out first!!!

Jaejoong smiled and took his top off. He walked towards the fumbling Kiki who was reaching to find the door knob. He leaned in and opened the door for her.

Kiki could sense Jaejoong walking nearer to her. His bare topless body bumped into hers as he opened the door for her. She felt another round of heat come up on her face.

Jaejoong breathed gently into Kiki's ear.

Kiki: Kam... Kam...sa...hamnida...

And she dashed out of the bathroom, leaving the topless Jaejoong laughing in is musical laughter and looking at her as she dashed clumsily, as she almost tripped, back to their room.

Chapter 53: What's Going on in the Rooms?

In the room with Xiah, Micky and Fifi, which was Xiah and Micky's room......

Micky and Fifi were sitting at the round table on the arm chairs. Junsu was lying on the bed, with a pen and paper, thinking of games.

Fifi: Why don't we have a white engagement party? With all the white laces and roses, how romantic can this get. But, do you know what necessary ceremony is needed for Korean Engagement party?

Micky: That sounds romantic enough. I'm not too sure about it. I think it is just like the usual engagement party where the couple just announce to their friends and relative that they are getting engaged. We can ask U-know-Hyung about that. I think he will know more.

Xiah was rather bored, sitting alone at the bed thinking of the games while Fifi and Micky were discussing about the party.

Xiah's thought: This is so boring. Why does everyone has a partner to work with, while I have to do all the work by myself. Argh.... And why does Micky gets to work with Fifi. It was supposed to be me, and not him. I don't care. I'm going to make the 2 of them join me. The 3 of us can do the games and party together.

Xiah: Since we are all here in the same room, why not the two of you join me in the discussion for the games. And I could give you guys ideas on the party? How about that? I think we could work faster.

Micky: Junsu ya.... Didn't I say just now that I'm not interested in the doing games with you?

Xiah: But.... Can't you see that it would be faster if all 3 of us do it together?

Micky: I don't think so. I think we would be faster without you.

Fifi: Don't be so mean to Junsu. Maybe it would be faster that we do it together.

Xiah: Yeah. I think Fifi's so right. So, we should combine our forces and finished everything so we can go and play soccer after that. YAY!!!!!

Fifi: Erm.... Junsu, I think it's good we can finish everything as soon as possible. But, I don't think it's a good idea to play soccer at such a late hour.

Micky: Sigh... I wonder what's your head contains. Is it only soccer, soccer and soccer, and nothing else?

Fifi: I think that is the only thing he gets excited about.

Xiah: There's not only soccer in my head. There are other things..... Like my family, members, my doggie, music, and f.....

Micky: Whatever.

So, Micky and Xiah pushed the bedside table, which is separating the beds, away and then moved the beds together. All 3 of them sat on the bed and started discussion proper.

Over at the room with U-know, Max and Theo, which was U-know and Max's room......

All 3 of them were sitting around the round table. Max had a lab top in front of him for the convenience of going to the Internet to check the main attractions and other details.

U-know: Hmm... Let me see what's interesting on Jeju Island..... How about the Seongeup Folk Village or the Teddy Bear Mesuem or Jeongbang Falls or the Jungmun Daepo Coast Jusangjeolli Cliff or the Marado Island or the Jeju Folk Village Mesuem? This is going to be so exciting. It's been a long time since I've step foot on the island.

Max: Hyung... Slow down. We can't go to go many places all at one go. We only have a day, so we must plan carefully.

Theo: Yeah. I agree with Max. But, can we go to the All In House? I heard that it's like a definitely must visit attraction if we are going to Jeju Island.

U-know: I haven't visited that place yet. I think we can go there.

Max: Hyung, you can't keep adding the places to our list. We need to choose a few symbolic places to go. The island is too big for us to visit every single destinations. And, we are supposed to keep track of the timing. We can't spend too much time in a single attraction, or else we can't finish our itinary for the day.

U-know: Araso. So, which one do you think would be symbolic enough for us to visit?

Theo: Max, if you're going to pick the destination, can we please go to the All In house? And, we can't always visit mesuems and historical sight. And..... And.... places to eat at the right time is a must. We must not forget that, or else I think I will be too hungry to continue for the day. And, there must not be too many stops for shopping, or else Fifi and Kiki is to stay at the mall for the whole day.

Max: Hmmm...... Let me see.... We have the whole day to visit the island, with breaks during lunch and dinner. If we are going to continue after dinner, we can only visit some of the scenic places.

U-know: Why not we start our day early at around 7 or 8. We can visit the museums and other attractions that close early before it closes. If we are too tired, then we would rest after dinner. There is no need to push ourselves to the limit, we can cut down on the games if there is not enough time.

After discussing for some time, U-know decided that he wanted to leave the room.

U-know: Guys, you can continue with the discussion. I need to use the toilet.

U-know left the room, heading towards the nearby convenient store instead of the toilet.

Max: I think we are almost done. When Hyung comes back, I think we can all go to sleep.

U-know walked for about 5 minutes, almost half the time needed for an average person due to his long legs, before reaching the store. He entered the store and started to search for some tea light candles. However, he did not manage to find any. Thus, he went up to the store keeper and ask for help.

U-know: Annyeong-haseyo, do you have tea light candles? I need to get some.

Salesperson: Hmmm.... I think we have only a packet left.

U-know: How many are there in a pack?

Salesperson: About 50 plus. Is that enough?

U-know: I think that should do. I'll take that. Kamsahamnida.

U-know bought that packet of tea light candles, fearing that it would not be easy to get them at such a late hour. After that, he headed back to the house as quickly as possible.

Back at the house, U-know was thinking of where to place the candles first.

U-know gave Theo a smile to assure her that he was really feeling alright.

Max: Hyung, are you sure you can carry on?

U-know: Ye. It's just normal procedure that everyone needs to go through. I'm really fine.

Max: Alright then, we better finish this up quickly and then we can have our supper.

Theo: Yeah. I can't wait for supper. Now, my stomach is growling really loudly.

Chapter 52: Babo...

Seeing everyone gone, Kiki got up from the sofa where Jaejoong and her were sitting on and walked out to the front porch. Once she stepped out, she regretted not taking a jacket along with her. It was a windy night. The sky was all dark and there were no stars in the sky. The house faced the sea, so the sea glimmered and sparkled as the light from the moon shone onto the surface of the water. Cold wind blew against her skin, she felt and immense pain crept up her spine. She shivered slightly.

Jaejoong looked quietly at Kiki as she left his side to go to the front porch. He didn't understand why she didn't want to spend more time with him, now that they were here for their engagement party. Wasn't engagements and marriages meant to celebrate a couple's undying love for each other? And their desire to be with each other for the rest of their lives? He just didn't understand what was on her mind. He noticed her shivering slightly as the wind blew against her. She didn't have a jacket on.

Kiki's back was facing the living room, but she could hear the front door open. But she didn't turn around. She felt arms going around her waist and hug her from behind, she turned her face.

Jaejoong: Can you please tell me what did I do just now to upset you? I know I am a bit slow... So I don't know what I did wrongly... But I'm not the slowest in the group... There's still Junsu behind me...

Kiki giggled when she heard that.

Kiki: Don't be so mean to Xiah... You guys are always bullying him...

Jaejoong: At least it made you laugh...

Kiki started walking back into the living room. Jaejoong turned and looked at her as she walked inside and waited for her answer. Once she was inside and on the stairs leading up to the rooms...

Kiki: I'm fine with that... As long as you keep them away from me...

Jaejoong: What!!!! Andwae!!!! Shiroyo!!!

Kiki made a dash for it and ran towards her room. Just when she was about to shut the door, Jaejoong slammed his body against the door to stop it from closing. Kiki pushed her whole body against the door to stop him from pushing it open.

Kiki: Stop pushing!!!!

Jaejoong: Andwae!!! Stop pushing yourself!!!! And let me in!!!

Kiki: Hey you're my dishwasher.... You have to sleep in the maid's room...

Jaejoong: There's no maid's room here...

Kiki: Andwae... go sleep with the rest of the guys... this is MY room...

Hearing the commotion going on, the rest emerged from the rooms they were in and came over to see what was happening.

Micky: Hyung... what are you two doing again?

Jaejoong: Nothing... (still pushing against the door with all his might)

Fifi: Then why are you making so much noise...

Theo: Whatever... Let's go back and continue our discussion... You two enjoy yourselves...

Max, Theo and U-Know headed back to the room they were in to continue their discussion. Jaejoong looked at them blurly as they beelined back into the room, with Theo in front and Max and U-Know behind. Fifi, Xiah and Micky also went back to the other room they were in to continue their brainstorming. Jaejoong couldn't believe that they were more interested in their discussions than helping him. Kiki felt the pressure on the door lessen, and she gave one strong push and slammed the door shut, she immediately locked it. Jaejoong snapped out from looking at the trio and realised that he had lost.

Kiki did a victory sign inside the room, and switched on the light.

Kiki's thoughts: Shit...

It was a study or work room. There was no bed inside except a small sofa. There was a bag in the room... She zipped open the duffel bag and realised that it was Jaejoong's. She zipped it back close.

Kiki's thoughts: Where's my bag???!!!! I thought this is the room where I placed my bag... How come it's now a study room??? And what's his bag doing here???

*Knock knock knock*

Jaejoong: Kiki-ah... open the door please... all my stuff are inside... just let me grab them and I'll go share the room with Yoochun...

The door opened. Kiki's head was hung low.

Kiki: Mianeyo... I mistook this as the room... I don't know where I put my stuff now...

She stepped out of the room and walked from room to room looking for her stuff. Jaejoong took his bag from the room and followed behind Kiki as she searched for her stuff.

Kiki opened the door to the room Theo, U-Know and Max were in.

Kiki: Guys, did you see my bag here???

Everyone shoke their heads.

Kiki: Mianeyo for disturbing you... Good luck on the brainstorming...

Next she opened the door to the room Fifi, Xiah and Micky were in.

Kiki: Guys, is my bag here???

Everyone shoke their heads.

Fifi: I thought you put it in the last room along the corridor?

Kiki: Did I? I'll go check that room now... Mianeyo for disturbing you... Good luck on the brainstorming...

She finally found her bag in the room Fifi said. It was facing the sea and with a queen bed. She went to her bag and opened it to confirm that it was her bag. Jaejoong stood at the door and watched as she double-checked her bag.

Kiki: Thank god it's here... Not lost some where...

Kiki started taking our her stuff. She heard the door close and she turned around and looked at the door. Now she realised that Jaejoong had closed the door and was walking towards her with his bag in his hand. She felt her heart beat accelerate. He placed his bag beside hers and opened it to take out his stuff.

Kiki: I... I thought you said you're sharing the room with Yoochun?

Jaejoong: Didn't you notice just now when you were looking for your stuff? U-Know's sharing with Max. Fifi's sharing with Theo. And Micky's already sharing with Xiah. That's three rooms already... There's only two more rooms left. This one and the other one you were in just now.

Kiki racked her brains to recall what she had seen in the rooms that she had entered just now, and she remembered that all had two single beds except this one. There were indeed no more rooms.

Kiki: Then I'll go ask Micky to share this room with you then...

Jaejoong: And where are you going to sleep then?

Kiki: I'll go share with Fifi and Theo...

Jaejoong: All the other rooms have two single beds... Where are you going to sleep? If Yoochun comes here, the only spare bed is in the room with Junsu... You're not gonna share with him are you?

Jaejoong smiled. He had won. He knew that she wouldn't be so cold-hearted to make him sleep alone on the sofa, especially on such a cold night. He turned around slowly and pretended that he didn't hear what Kiki said.

Jaejoong: What did you say?

Kiki: I said... We'll share then...

Jaejoong: So I can sleep here?

Kiki: Yeah...

He started unpacking his things excitedly, smiling at Kiki time to time.

Kiki: Babo... (Fool...)

Jaejoong: Babo? Me?

Kiki: Yeah...
