Jaein excused herself and left for the restroom just before the dessert was served. She needed to get away for a while from the awkward ambience in the VIP room, with her students as her cousin's boyfriends, and not to mention a complete mood spoiler being around her get well party. And him being present at her get well party is just a complete irony in it's own, since he was the very reason she got sick in the first place!!!
Jaejoong watched as Jaein excused herself and left the room. The rest were still engrossed in their conversations and pretty much oblivious to her leaving. He slipped away a while later unnoticed too as he was getting bored listening to the two couples chatting non-stop to one another in their own little worlds that excluded everyone else around them. He wanted to corner Jaein and get the sweet revenge that he had been waiting for an entire week to get from her...
Jaein emerged from the restroom and walked back to the room, Jaejoong was standing at the corridor leading to the room, leaning against the wall nonchalantly. She pretended to not notice him and try to walk past him, but he lifted his arm, which blocked her way.
Jaein pushed his arm away and continued to walk on. Jaejoong was a bit shocked by her defiant behavior towards him, as everyone had always been afraid of him, and had given him much respect at school. Jaein's behavior made him feel even MORE determined to get his revenge on her. He wants to make her afraid of him like the rest...
Unconsciously, Jaejoong reached and grabbed Jaein's arm and pulled her back towards him. Jaein stumbled backwards when he pulled her. As she wasn't exactly very used to wearing high heels, so she kinda lost her balance when he pulled her towards him. In fact, she lost her balance and fell towards him. Jaein tried to regain balance herself, but since she did not wish to get any help from Jaejoong, she refused to grab onto him. Slowly, she felt gravity pulling her down towards the floor...
Jaein's thoughts: SHIT!!! I'M GONNA FALL!!!!
Jaein tried to reach for something to grab onto, except Jaejoong, to stop herself from falling but there was nothing around. She felt her legs giving way to a half split...
Then...
She stopped falling backwards.
Suddenly, Jaejoong had grabbed her around the waist just before she hit the ground, as he wanted and expected her to grab onto him or beg him for help, when he notice her losing her balance. But inspite of her predicament, she still refused to ask him for him. So he was waiting till the last moment to see if she would ask him, but still she didn't...
Jaein stared at Jaejoong, shocked by his sudden decision to help her. His arm was around her waist, and she was in a half split position, so her body's weight was totally on him. If he decided to let go now, she would fall flat onto her butt, and possibly sprain her ankle. Jaejoong felt a rush of heat up his face, as Jaein's face was just inches from his, and she was staring at him with a wide opened eyes, blinking in shock.
Jaein (quivering voice): Wh....
Yunho (interupting Jaein with his loud voice): WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING??!!!!!!
Both Jaejoong and Jaein looked towards the door where Yunho stood staring at them, and the others' heads popped up around him to see what's happening. Almost immediately, Jaejoong skilfully pulled Jaein up and took his arm away from her waist, and started dusting himself again, as if Jaein had left a lot of dust and dirt on him, and started walking towards Yunho, and away from Jaein.
Jaejoong (nonchalantly): She slipped.
Yunho: So I caught her before she fell?
Jaejoong: Yeah.
Junsu (suspiciously): That's all?
Jaejoong: Yeah.
Yunho (probingly): You sure? I thought you HATE to be touched... How come now you're okay with body contact with strangers?
Jaejoong directed a cold glare at Yunho. Yunho gave him a meaningful smirk.
Junsu (rubbing it in): Yeah... How come it's okay when it's Ms Jun? This is the... wait... 1, 2, 3... 3rd time you two have got body contact...
Jaejoong pat Junsu on his arm (looks like a light pat, but actually is a very HARD hit), and whispered into his ear.
Jaejoong (whispering): Enough, okay!!! Stop it!!!
Yiting and Yining looked at Jaejoong suspiciously when both guys turned and pretended to smile normally to them.
Jaejoong (matter-of-factly): It's nothing. She's our tutor. I should help her.
Jaejoong's thoughts: Actually... it's the 5th time... ALREADY... 1st time is when she grabbed me in class. 2nd time is when she was drenched, and I loaned her my jacket. 3rd time is when I carried her when she fainted from fever. 4th time is when she fainted in the rain. 5th... is just now...
Jaein walked in slowly, still a bit wobbly from before. She was still a bit shaky from the near fall just now. She sat back down opposite Jaejoong and kept her head down.
Yining (concernedly): Unnie, gwenchanayo?
Jaein: Ye, gwenchana... Let's just finish the dessert and leave...
Jaein started eating her dessert (cheesecake, her fave), and the rest followed suit. Jaejoong stole a peek at Jaein while she ate. Her face was visibly redder, maybe she was also embarrassed like him, when he held her so close just now?

After the meal, Yiting and Yining wanted to go for a movie, of course Yunho and Junsu were accommodating, and agreed immediately. Jaein was okay with going for a movie, but Jaejoong wasn't as keen, since he was a cleanliness freak and public cinemas made him uncomfortable. But seeing everyone keen, he decided to give in after constant bugging from Yunho and Junsu.
Much to the guys' delight, the girls let them decide what movie to watch. They decided to go ahead with a sci-fi horror movie "I Am Legend", without asking the girls' opinions. Up till they went into the cinema, the girls had no idea what they were watching. However, when it came to seating, the seating arrangement was a bit awkward.
Yining and Yiting were sharing popcorn so they sat together, so naturally Junsu and Yunho sat on either side of them. That left Jaein to choose sitting in between Junsu and Jaejoong, or Yunho and Jaejoong. She decided that Junsu was a better choice, so she sat down beside Junsu, leaving Jaejoong to sit beside her. And since they were loggerheads, she tried to lean as far as possible from Jaejoong, without leaning too close to Junsu, so her back was always half turned away from Jaejoong. Instead of feeling pissed, Jaejoong actually had more things to handle on his side. He was trying to not sit so much into the seat, since he felt that it was filthy, he was leaning forward a lot, and fidgeted profusely in his seat.
Once the movie started, Yining and Yiting were grabbing onto Junsu and Yunho's arms and hiding behind them during the scary scenes. And both guys hugged them almost too naturally, shielding them from the gore and horrorific scenes, and consoling them that it's just a movie. Jaein, on the other hand, no doubt was holding her screams in, and she did not wish to embarrass herself in front of her students. And especially not in front of Kim Jaejoong. She did not want to appear weak in front of him. So instead, she grabbed onto the armrest and and tried to look elsewhere when the scenes were too much for her to take.
Towards the end of the movie, during the climax, where the Alpha Male lead a whole herd of infected corpses to come after Will Smith at his house, Jaein couldn't take it anymore, she turned her head away from the screen, closed her eyes, and grabbed anything around her for security...
When the scene ended with a loud explosion, Jaein opened her eyes...
She was grabbing onto Jaejoong's shirt, cos he had taken his suit jacket off to use as a shield from the filthy seat, before he sat down, and took off his tie. She had grabbed the shirt so hard and tight that now the shirt was totally crumpled in her hands, and his chest was showing slightly as the top few buttons had come loose from her tugging.
But the most shocking fact (for her that is) was that Jaein was hiding her head against Jaejoong's chest!!!
The moment she opened her eyes, she saw his pink shirt crumpled in her hands, and his muscular chest showing underneath the half-opened shirt, right in front of her face!!!!
Jaein shot away from him immediately like he was a contagious disease, adjusting herself back to her original seating position with her back half facing her. And she sat like that for the rest of the movie, avoiding any eye or body contact with him.
Everyone exited the cinema together, Yunho with his arm around Yiting, and Junsu with his arm around Yining, both were comforting their yeoja chingus from the movie. They were too busy to notice what had happened between Jaein and Jaejoong. The two awkward loggerheads just followed behind the two couples quietly, with Jaejoong trailing behind Jaein.
Yining (whining to Junsu): I don't care... To make up for the bad choice of movie... You guys have to accompany us shopping...
Junsu: Araso... araso... whatever you say... we'll go shopping with you girls...
Yiting: Yeah... What a terrible selection!!! My heart is still pounding from the shock!!!
Yunho (rubbing his hand gently up and down Yiting's shoulder to calm her down): Gwenchanayo? It's just a movie... And don't worry... I'm here to protect you...
Yiting smiled in satisfaction at Yunho. Jaein felt a shiver of chills run down her spine. Their sweet-nothings was a bit too much for her to take. She just wanted to excuse herself and leave these two lovey-dovey couples, get back home as soon as possible, and change out of this outfit!!!
Jaein: Erm... girls... I think I'll pass on the shopping...
Yining: Wae?
Jaein: I just recovered... I think I shouldn't over-exerted myself before returning to work tomorrow... So... I'll head on back home first... You guys can continue shopping...
Yiting: Hmmm... You want me to get the chaffeur to drive you back first?
Jaein: Gwenchana... I can go back myself...
Yining: But I'm sure you won't wanna wear THIS and take a bus right? It's so.... I know you too well... You're not gonna take a cab...
Yunho: Hyung... Why don't you send Ms Jun back first? Since you don't like shopping anyway...
Everyone looked over at Jaejoong, who was standing and swiping imaginary dirt off his white jacket. He looked up when he heard Yunho's suggestion. Junsu and Yunho threw him act-cute smiles and faces, trying to persuade him to do it. Jaejoong rolled his eyes in surrender.
Jaejoong: Alright... I'll send her back first...
Junsu: Great!!! Then you girls won't have to worry when you're shopping... Kajang!!!
Jaein (protesting): But... it's... really... not...
However, Jaein's protests were in vain, as Yunho and Junsu had already pulled Yiting and Yining away separately to start their shopping. The two of them really couldn't wait to get time alone with their yeoja chingus...
Jaein stared in frustration as her cousins left with their namja chingus, leaving her alone in the hands of her nemesis...
Jaejoong: Let's go...
Jaein turned and looked at Jaejoong, he was already walking away from her. He was so surprisingly agreeable... And he didn't even give her a chance to protest...
